Mission
The mission of the CPREP Student Government is to enrich the lives of the CPREP student body by advocating for its interests to the administration. We aim to help student groups meet their goals through new and continuing initiatives, programs, and resources.
Vision
We strive to foster an inclusive and innovative community that works together effectively.

Collaborators - We will work together with the student body to ensure their needs and wants are being satisfied.

Problem Solvers – We will identify areas of greatest need and work with the appropriate bodies to create solutions.

Researchers - We will create new ideas that are fresh and forward thinking.

Empathetic Citizens – We will advocate for all our of student body with respect to all individual differences; including but not limited to: age, cultural background, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and ability.

Pillars of Knowledge – The administration will actively seek out our input regarding issues that matter to the student body.
Student Voice
The Capital Preparatory Magnet School Student Government will serve as the student voice for institutional decision-making. The student voice is critical to the educational mission of CPREP. At least two (2) staff members will serve as Mentors to the Student Government. The Mentors will encourage active student participation in academic and campus life. All Student Government meeting notes will be shared with the public to ensure transparency.
